Two-dimensional profiles are terminated in CADAM3D with the Close perimeter command. Otherwise, the software will not perform correctly. The end point is defined as the last point on the foundation or on the chute in contact with the pier, in the downstream direction (Figure 47). Note, this end point can be on either the foundation or the chute. The appropriate option must be chosen, and the X or Y point required to position the end point must be specified in the proper field. The pier window is then updated and shows the full vertical profile.
